Бекхардом в 1969 г. на основе идеи Д. Глейчера и выглядела как D * V * F > R, где D (dissatisfaction) — неудовлетворенность текущим положением, V (vision) — наличие четкого представления о возможностях, F (first) — эффективность первых шагов, R (resistance) — сопротивление изменениям со стороны коллектива; впоследствии некоторые исследователи предлагали другие модификации этой формулы)
